2010 class:
Robert Carswell's offer was for a greyshirt only. He accepted, and re-signed in the 2011 class.
Wilson Love broke his leg in the fall of 2009. He had trouble recovering and when he signed in the 2010, he knew he would be greyshirting.
Harrison Jones was told he might greyshirt, and was going to do so until the Alfy Hill situation happened.

I dont know why we want to explain to Auburn posters like the OP and TNM anyway. They hate Alabama and whine and moan and create anything they can to disparage Bama all the while crying about that damn ATPB thread. This si why I never felt sorry for their arse when they cried about it this is just par for the course for them.

have all you Au fans that are so upset about the oversigning then "culling" petitioned Au to make their football scholarships a 4(5-if the coach forces a redshirt) year scholarship? It seems to me that if it pisses you off to the extremity shown on this site that you would make damn sure that Au would never do the same. Make the 1 year agreement a 4 year agreement on the plains. No reason you shouldn't, right?
