I think they played for the NC once or twice back in the 1960's, when Jerry Jones played at Ark. Its not like they never fielded a great team.

But I think this season they were just so excited to have a good QB and a good coach that they felt their oats and after all, they did go to a BCS game.

I think I have seen this before among young kids. They were just so glad to have something to cheer about.
I have a couple of friends from Ark-Fayettville. They are nice people. They are kind, decent folk. And they love their school.
I think its a kind of innocence. it will tame down mightily after they go 8-4 or 7-5 next season and finish after the big boys, LSU and Bama.
