AU rivals home page. God's Plan

I find this to be extremely disturbing and cultish. Honestly, do all AU fans stand behind this stuff? It's freaking weird man.

I guess God hates AU basketball, because y'all are terrible. That's basically what I gather using the new Chizik AU logic.

As a third party I absolutely agree.

Auburn fans, surely you don't want to be associated with this. You are turning into Texas A&M.

yes pretending to worship God or to use him to recruit is a one way ticket to hell.

This is not getting freaky anymore, it's well past that point.

I guess you can't be Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, athiest, Taoist, etc. and play for/cheer for Auburn?

Someone should make Chizik pick which God he is referring to

The ultimate in arrogance is the use of God. I promise you God has more important things to focus on then Football Players and Coaches. I also find it comical that Cam's father who is a man of the cloth was banned from being around the team.

Personally, I don't care what a player/coach/fan believes, as long as he/she wants to see Alabama be the best program in the country.

If its sincere, more power to them. But with people like Trooper Taylor on staff, I find it hard to believe. I definatly like what theyre promoting, but you have to back up the talk to.

Pretty negatively ironic considering Cam's preacher dad, was caught red-handed in pay-to-play solicitation and coincidentally received donations allowing repairs on his condemned church. I can easily see such a blatant religious approach having an unintended backlash.

I was absolutely TRASHED on this forum for stating that their recruiting tactics (using "God" to influence kids) were sickening.

It's getting worse and worse. I expect sensible Auburn fans will begin to see this trend and think it's a little strange.

I can see it becoming a problem for Auburn since Auburn's not a private school.

So, would Auburn not recruit an atheist, or a non-Christian?
