Here are my grades.... What are your's?

LSU- B+ ... Krags is a proven OC and can develop the QB. Time will tell though. Either way still a Monumental Upgrade from Crowton. His stint at Louisville is his only blemish on his resume. LSU will be going back to our bread and butter the play action passing with a running game designed to wear down even the best of Defenses.

Alabama- A ... really like the hire of T martin. He should help Bama lock down the Mobile area while giving you a much better WR core. I don't know much about your Oline coach though.

MSU - D- .... Your staff lost all their big name recruits when Diaz left and now you hire a guy that claims credit for Bama's great 08 class yet can't get any of those big names to even visit MSU. Hopefully he can at least coach a defense.

FL - D+.... I have seen FL fans say this staff is great. I respectively disagree. This one was easy for me. You hire a DC that has seen better days as your HC. You hire your offensive staff before you hire your OC and then your OC hire has a huge ego and on top of that didn't get to pick his own staff. Things are not gonna mesh on the swamp IMO. There will be power struggles for several years until FL wises up. Over all it will be a rough few years down on the swamp.

OM... C ok hires, but you are still Ole Miss.

Vandy..... we are still waiting for your hire.

He hasn't got the job yet. He's interviewing sometime next week.

Who did State hire that was associated with Bama's 08 class?

FWIW, I think LSU and UF hit homeruns with their o-coordinator hires. I think you are talking about 2 guys that excel when not given too much to worry about. Weis and Krag know offense, but were clueless about running a program. UF getting Weis especially was a grand slam (although there are ego/chemistry risks involved with him).

You think Kragthorpe is a better OC hire than Weis

That is some homer shite right there

Croom is apparently interviewing for the Bama WR coach position, so I think it's still open...

Didn't they hire the HCIW at Maryland?

There are reports circulating that Tee is staying at Kentucky. I also have my doubts about how effective Charlie Tuna will be against SEC defenses. Muschamp is a great defensive coach but can he administrate? Jury's out. I think UF and Vandy are probably C's and if it's true about Tee then Bama's grade drops to a B-. MSU's best recruiter jumped to ULL so there score is about right IMO. Really like the Krags hire.

Probably had more to do with Hudspeth leaving and I'm not real excited about that replacement.

Stoutland did well at Miami, improving their running game and pass blocking. He's a great recruiter too.

What's better?

Respectively disagreeing or Respectfully disagreeing?

Overall, I respectfully agree with your assessment.
