Rotate the site of the SEC Championship Game

I'm sick of it always being played in Atlanta. The SEC should rotate it so that Tenn/UGA fans don't own it everytime LSU plays there.
Here is the rotation the SEC should consider:
Georgia Dome--- Atlanta, Ga (71,228)
Superdome--- New Orleans (71,246)
Florida Citrus Bowl--- Orlando, Fl (70,000)
LP Stadium--- Nashville, Tn (68,000)
Cowboys Stadium--- Arlington, TX (105,000)
Atlanta shouldn't be viewed as a neutral site the way Omaha is in College Baseball. Omaha is a pure neutral site, since Nebraska, Iowa or Kansas isn't making it there on a consistent basis. While the aforementioned cities could line up as a home game for potential schools, you would have less of a chance of that. If LSU lucks out and plays in the SEC Championship when its hosted in the Superdome, or Vanderbilt plays in it when its hosted in Nashville (hey, I wanted a good laugh) then so be it. If LSU plays Tennessee in Orlando, or Arkansas plays Georgia in Nashville, this is more neutral.

Subject is brought up every offseason
And I agree 100%, everyone that doesn't live in Atlanta or nearby will too.

Totally Disagree... Leave it at a permanent site, it becomes a battle cry, etc... Plus it is a short drive for me

I like it in Atlanta. Nashville wouldn't be a bad option though.

Yeah... No. Keep that bitch in ATL

Citrus bowl is a Dump.
The only places in FL that would measure up would be Jacksonville and Tampa.
Jacksonville as a pretty large stadium for an NFL franchise. Tampa would be a nice rotation too.
I just hate indoor football. That's just me though.

Have you looked at a map of the SEC states lately? All of those other than NOLA and Atlanta are horrible picks.
Facts are Atlanta is a bigger hub which makes it easy to get to for the majority of SEC schools. No reason to change it. Your sounding like a Big 10 fan bitching about bowls being down south.
Citrus is a horrible horrible venue.
Nashville? Outside in December? Not going to happen.
Cowboys Stadium? This isn't an exhibition show like LSU-Oregon is going to be. We aren't in the Big 12.

keep it in atlanta... no reason to have the game in NOLA then ask the champion to play there again five weeks later.

Ark and LSU are the only fans it kind of sucks for. A western location every now and then would be nice.

Superdome--- New Orleans (71,246) Fans aren't gonna pay a shite ton of money to come to New Orleans, and have to come back a month later.

Florida Citrus Bowl--- Orlando, Fl (70,000) Absolute shite hole.

LP Stadium--- Nashville, Tn (68,000) I'd be fine with this, but I think your corporate types are gonna want an indoor venue.

Cowboys Stadium--- Arlington, TX (105,000) Seriously? Have the SECC in a state that doesn't even have a SEC team? Why not really go all out, and move the SECC to Hawaii so we can really party it up.

Build a nice stadium in Miss. That would truly be a neutral site considering home state teams would almost never play in it.

Keep it in Atlanta. I like it being in a dome where you don't have to worry about weather messing up the best game in college football each year.
New Orleans would be just as prejudicial to LSU as Atlanta is to UGA, if not more. Atlanta is a melting pot of SEC alums due to its status as the economic center of the Southern US.

That sounds more like a problem LSU has with its fans, not the location.

I don't know which is more laughable from the OP, playing the championship in a dump like the Citrus Bowl or playing it in Texas. The SEC...in Texas? Nashville would suck too because it'd be so damn cold.

Yes.

No.

Why?
quote:
LP Stadium--- Nashville, Tn (68,000)
LOL

Cowboys Stadium--- Arlington, TX (105,000)
Move the stadium about 500-600 miles east and I'd love it.

Why in the heck would they move the game to Dallas when there is no SEC conference association in the state of Texas.. Who cares if it borders Louisiana it AINT happening it would only benefit LA, ARKY and MS fans...
WAH, put everything in Louisiana to benefit LSU...

Stoopid. Leave it in ATL
Why would the SEC play their championship game in Texas?

Florida Citrus Bowl--- Orlando, Fl (70,000)- its a dump

Cowboys Stadium--- Arlington, TX (105,000)- texas isnt in the south east sooo
I wouldnt mind it being in NOLA but since its always been in ATL and it is geographically in the middle, i say keep it like it is.
