The guy is 8-0 in bowl games he has coached. He has coached on 3 of the last 5 BCS conference teams to go undefeated and he is currently turning Auburn into a powerhouse while everybody is thumbing their nose at him.

Quit claiming accomplishments he was part of as an assistant. And have a consistent program.

You know the difference between "coach" and "head coach," right?

He has had three pitiful years as a head coach and one great one. He is a defensive coach and he has yet to field and impressive defense. How bout win some championships with defense once gus leaves. Offensive players on the teams he has one championships with were the most productive and also the leaders of the teams. Ronnie, Carnell, Vince, and Cam.

Some things just cant be explained. Sometimes you just have to accept it and let it be.

Same reason people don't think Milli Vanilli was a great band or Charles Ponzi was a good investment option or Joseph Smith was a true prophet or Faeries are real or the Alien Autopsy was legit.

Why bother asking other fans in SECr that have for the most part been negative and in bash mode all season long? I for one do not need outside affirmation that Chizik is a very good HC. You will hardly receive objective input here anyhow. I must be a glutton for punishment I guess.

Oh look, a Auburn pity party, and WTF are you claiming his accomplishments as an assistant? He coached multiple Thorpe award winners to huh?

1 great year does not equal powerhouse or even close to one.

In 09,Gus took a screwed up team and made a great offense, Chizics D sucked. This past year Gus took one of the best athletes ever in cfb and had a unstoppable offense, once again Chizics D sucked. It would have been sun belt level without fairley

You guys want everyone to look at chiz like he's on sabans level or something when all of his hc success is thanks to Gus maz and Cam Newton.

Saban is a D guy, and he's had 3 straight top 5 defenses, and will certainly have another this year, thats elite. How do you respect a guy like chiz when he cant even field a half decent D or control his thugs?

The answer to the question is he has already proven it.

What you have in general is dumbasses and haters that ran their mouth to much to admit they were wrong. It embarrasses them now, so they try to convince themselves they were right with whatever they can.

Kinda pathetic, but that is just the way some people are built.

Win a game without the God factor. That's an obvious unfair advantage.

When Auburn hired Chizik, I thought y'all were making a big mistake. When Malzahn was hired, my first reaction was, "oh shite!" I knew at that point what would happen. I just didn't think it would occur this soon.

Now, if/when Malzahn is removed from this equation, I would still view it as I did before he was hired, So, if Chizik continues to have success if/when Malzahn's gone, I will give Coach Chizik credit.

Winning with eligible players would be a logical first step.
