I would say when Florida dome-rocked Ohio State. When Michigan started going downhill, the Big 10 has lost luster. Furthermore, Notre Dame, Miami, and Florida State have virtually been irrelevant over the past 5 years. In the early 2000's, Florida State, Miami, Ohio State, Michigan, USC, and Oklahoma were consistently top 10 teams. SInce then, LSU, Florida, Auburn, and ALabama as of late have all come on strong to strengthen the SEC....

Notice I did not include Arkansas because they coouldn't take care of business vs. OSU and Georgia because they lost to Central Florida... What a joke
