'07 LSU was a fricking joke. At least this team won it all on the field and didn't have to rely on a ridiculous amount of teams to lose, just to back into the game. And to think Less just got another 7 years out of that lucky horseshoe.

LSU 07 would be the 2nd least respected team. Right behind Auburn '10.
I'm glad you guys came around. We didn't have to wait long to point to another team that was even less deserving.

And which team deserved a shot at the NC over LSU that year?

You have no business making fun of '07 LSU. They may have lost a couple games, but the teams ahead of them lost and they ended up in the NCG. Not only that, but they WON the game. And LSU did not have issues involving cheating surrounding their team that year

i've never understood this logic. if lsu was a joke in 2007 who the hell was so great that year? lsu was the best that year. if there was someone better, why did they lose two or more games? It's not like lsu didn't spank a top 10 vtech, top ten ohio state, beat a top 10 south carolina, beat a top 25 Au and Tenn. don't many others could say the same.

LSU 2007 might not be considered the greatest of all time, but they were the best team that year, hence the whole championship thing. Who was better than them that year?
I am not saying that Auburn was not the best on the field. But with Cam and Fairley being one and done and the cheating allegations, all that on field greatness seems very hollow.
Its why no one will remember Jose Canseco in baseball. Great stats, but he cheated.
Its also why the Florida Marlins aren't respected, even though they've won 2 titles. They bought the championships amd then dismantled the team afterwards.

Nah, I'll tell you what a frick in joke is....all you Auburn "all in" jokes. This past year was Auburn's first legit win against LSU since 2002. Another joke is rushing for 400 AT HOME and escaping by 7 points. Make sure you get your picture at Walmart soon with "yalls" trophy. It won't be yours for long. Bottom line even though LSU had 2 loses in 2007 there wasn't a damn team in the nation more deserving than LSU. I'd rather dumbasses be jealous of LSU's title in 07' and talk shite about the two loses than have to pay a player to achieve success like Auburn. The joke is on you.
