I had the same thought. USC was the real deal, but Auburn was, at the very least, the second best team in the nation. No way USC hangs 55 points on Auburns D, maybe 28. If Auburn wasn't shafted in 2004, we could be looking at the SEC winning the BCSNC for the last 7 out of the last 8 years.

2004 Auburn. I actually think that team was the best SEC team of the decade.

I think that Auburn 04 is the more talented team, but 10 would win the game.
I just think Cam and Fairley would take over when it was needed and win it.
