have they always been this funny/bipolar?

A couple months ago everyone in BRLA wanted him gone. they held rallies, marches, and started petitions. Now all of a sudden everyone wants him, they can't afford to lose him, and were freaking out @ the thought of losing leslie. I give lsu until mid-October before they have another lynch-les protest and want him gone. good stuff.....

u are not lying about that. alot of the fan base wanted him out to bring in anybody to help beat the bama/gators. but he pulled it out and the fan base slid back a little. i don't care how he wins just win.

It's not so much that people switch their opinions on him. It's just there are so many LSU fans who post on here that different factions become more vocal when something supports their point of view.

There were still a ton of fans who didn't care/wanted him to leave.

Do you really want us to base your entire reputation on some douchebag florida fans? (I'm aware some do but generalizing an entire fanbase is idiotic)

Idiots from any fanbase are always the most outspoken, more people like miles. I've cursed him a few times (ole miss last year, tenn this year). Doesn't mean were all calling for his heads just because ignorant people tend to be more vocal.

I'm sure we can find some shite talkers on a Florida site.

For the cliff notes version of my post, see RBWilliams8 response a couple of posts earlier than mine.

That's unfortunate that you automatically group ALL LSU fans together. Are you saying ALL Gator fans think and act the same way?

You also are ignoring the idiot factor (which, I am at this very moment making up)...

1 idiot fan will always be more vocal than 2 reasonable fans.

but wait, it gets better....

10 idiot fans will always be more vocal than 100 reasonable fans.

100 idiot fans will always be more vocal than 10,000 reasonable fans.

And, the intelligence of an idiot fan is inversely proportional to the size of pack he/she runs with...

example1: You are at a party with 10 reasonable people and 1 idiot fan -- you'll hear some pretty funny/outlandish stuff.

example2: You are at a party with 10 reasonable fans, and 10 idiot fans -- you will hear some down-right crazy belligerent and a bit scary stuff.

Why do you think the LSU Rant is such a scary place? It's all in the ratios.

This is all supported 100% by zero scientific facts.

But, I am convinced this is the case for all fan bases. Except for USC Trojan fans -- I've been to a couple of their games and that group of fans are just plain arse boring.

Look here jack wagon. We are LSU, we have the right to voice any opinion that we like. Les is a great coach, has he made some blunders along the way with game day play calling, yes. Are we different then any other fan base in the country, hell no! The bottom line is Les is a winner, a great family man and would be hard to replace. 4 11 game winning seasons and will be more than likely the front runner for the National Championship next year. You have to be a thick skinned coach at any top program in the NCAA. Look at ya'll coach, he could not even take the pressure. Crumbled like a bad spice cake!

JEEBUS!!

This is so lazy. Type a few more words and say "a large, vocal group of empty heads", please.

I have NEVER wanted Miles to go.

Given all the circumstances I can't think of another fan base in the SEC (except for maybe Vanderbilt) or any other historically successfull program that would act ANY differently.

go to hell. i'll have you know we are schitzo and not bi polar. you mistakenly think that EVERYONE is represented by some very vocal posters on a fan message board. many, and yes most LSU fans did not want miles gone (crowton, yes). appearances based on a message board can be and are very deceiving.

Did you notice the post about Florida finishing the season unranked? You should have been calling for CUM to be fired.

LSU fans are very bipolar.

During a game if an opposing team scores a touchdown you'd think they would be 0-12 and want the entire staff fired.

When they score a touchdown you'd think they won the national championship.

It's very amusing looking at it from outside.

The distribution of opinion regarding Les Miles as LSU's football coach amognst the population of LSU fans may be considered bi-modal, but no, LSU fans are not all bi-polar.

And yes, we have always been this funny.
