Auburn's O-line outweighs, on average, the Oregon d-line by over 60 lbs per man. Cam Newton is larger than all but two of the Oregon defensive starters and is substantially larger than all of their LBs and DBs. He is probably faster than everyone on Oregon's D.

I agree with that statement completely. But...the following are definitely good points as well. Really could go either way.

quote:

1. Oregons defense will not be surprised or impressed by the Malzahn no huddle. Nobody plays faster then Oregon. There defense will not struggle with the no huddle fast break style that Auburn employs. Auburns execution may get them...but the frantic pace won't be an issue. Nobody else in the country can say that.

2. Auburn has not to this date faced an offense as good as Oregons. If the Auburn defense plays against Oregon like they played in the first half of the Bama game...Oregon will score 50 on them in the first half. Oregon will stay on the gas until the end of the game. They play at a fast pace and I am not sure if the barn has the depth to deal with that. Put it this way...if Auburn gets down by 3 TDs in this game there will be no comeback.
