Someone from Auburn want to explain this term to me? I see it everywhere.

So a family is only a 4 or 5 year period?

A family gives you a yearly allowance in the six figures.

Usually Auburn fans either went to Auburn or have family there, its a closer knit fan base than schools like Bama, Tennessee, or even Georgia who pick up a lot of bandwagon fans.

It's just a theme that they're using because most Auburn fans have some connection with the university rather than being just a "fan".

Some people disagree because they know or have friends that are just fans but they don't see the big picture. They just base it off of their personal opinion.

Just saw this today on ESPN, Ziemba summed it up perfectly:

“It’s a family, a small town in Southeast Alabama, and most of the fans went to school there and graduated,” said Ziemba, who’s from Rogers, Ark. “You have a close-knit family that is diehard about its football. You want to thank them for their love and support.

“They’re the type of fans that stick with you through the 5-7 seasons, through the rough years, through the times when you’re jumping offsides too many times. They’re always with you. They’re going to love you whether you’re on top or on the bottom.

"That’s Auburn.”

Just picture a redneck version of the Sopranos or the Corleone family.

Hint: Lowder is the Godfather

"All in" refers to the patheticness right now on the plains. They all know deep down (and just don't care) that they are screwed. They don't have any other choice but to be all in and deny everything. They're all on the ship, it's going down, and there's no escape. Of course they're all in. They have no choice!
