he did the right thing. If he would have tried to pick it up, but then dropped it, and OSU recovered it and ran it for a first down, everyone would be saying "why didn't he just fall on the ball?" That's what you are SUPPOSED to do- secure possession.
Who would have thought, with Arkansas' momentum and ball movement, that they could't score from the 19 with over a minute to go?
