Atrocious officiating last night.

That was clearly forward progress. Also, I remember a big play for OSU where the player ran out of bounds on the first possession and was smoked by an Arky dude about 5 yards on the sidelines. They also missed a ton of Ohio State holds when Arkansas was blizting.

Lol it was Daniel Herron and the Arkansas player hit him in bounds.

It was the correct call based on the fact there was no whistle. In a better officiated scenario (IMO), they should've blown the whistle early and given him forward progress. But since there was no whistle, the safety call was correct.

not so fast my friend... there were plenty of calls that did not get called that benefitted both teams i.e. pass interference, holding, and the late hitting. aside from the cliche' that these could be called on everyplay in any game...in this game they were blatant.
