Ok guy's so what do you think, is the SEC down this year compared to last year?

Please quote some stats to support your position. I will get the ball rolling.

2009 | 2010*
Teams with 10 or more wins: 2 | 4
Teams in the AP top 25 : 4 | 4 **

* 2010 stats are as of 1/1/2011 @ 4:47 PM with some bowl games left to be played. All 2009 stats are from the end of the season (after the bowls).

** South Carolina lost and isn't included in this count because they are 19 now and are assumed to drop out of the top 25 in the next poll.

It appeared so until today. Believe it or not, we may actually be better than last year.

No

2008 and 2009 were down compared to other seasons the last 5-7 years.
