Actually, that picture makes it look like he was trying to lead with his shoulder, but did hit him with his head. Not sure if you realize, but your head sticks out above your shoulders making it difficult to lead with your shoulder and not ever hit a moving target with your head.

Besides, UTk should have won anyway because they should have been given time to substitute when UNC sent their field goal unit out. Game would have ended right then.

Not according to the head of officials for the NCAA. But, I'm betting audodger is more qualified to make that call.

You ever play football? That's not a natural position for your head.

That's old school spearing. And, when you consider the fact that he launched himself in the air (another non-natural football play), it's pretty clear that he was trying to hurt the guy.
