Does this really need to be explained?

Hell yes it does.

So many guys were oozing over him as the #1 guy on their boards coming into this season. He did nothing to live up to that.

and? He plays for Wash. with next to no talent and he was hurt most of the year.

He is just way too inaccurate to be an NFL QB.

you seen alot of him? I disagree.

he's a WAY better passer.

No, it really shouldnt. Newton is by far the better QB.

Wrong. Chris Polk is as legit as a RB you'll find and he has Kearse at WR, an NFL talent next year. It's not like Newton stepped into a powerhouse at Auburn, they lost 5 games last year.

There is no excuse for how poorly Locker played this year and is why no one is talking about him anymore. He should of declared last year when some team would of been dumb enough to take him in the Top 10/15. Good chance he'll fall out the 1st round now. Locker is a nothing at QB without his running ability and he cant run around all the time in the NFL. He isn't starting material by any means in the NFL. Newton is, he can throw the ball very well.

You know what QBs had a higher QB rating than Locker this year? Remember that terrible MSU QB a few years ago who threw like 5 or 6 picks against LSU? Wesley Carroll? He had a higher QB rating than him this year at FIU. Matt Simms, the former starter at Tennessee who was beat out by a true freshman later in the year...higher QB rating this year than Jake Locker.

There is zero excuse for the poor display Locker put on this year, his last year, his 4th year starting (did miss a lot his sophomore year).

Yes I have, he's terribly inaccurate. 54% career completion % is pretty terrible for a supposed "top QB".

Cam Newton - #1 QB Rating in NCAA
Jake Locker - #69 QB Rating in NCAA

On top of that it's clear to any level headed person watching the two Newton is miles ahead of Locker throwing the football in any aspect. Power, accuracy, etc...
