Fans of the schools these guys went to.. do you guys feel like you got what you expected out of these guys? Its hard to believe they are already done in college..

As an LSU fan, I feel like PP was great, and when we signed him I underestimated how valuable a lockdown corner was. So I feel like we got what we expected out of PP.

IMO Julio peaked his freshman year. I think injures really hampered him but I didn't see much improvement over these three years.

Julio - yes, got what I expected. Clear number one receiver, difference maker. Didn't always have monster numbers because of the style of offense, but his impact on Bama's success was huge.

Bama fans HAD to have expected Julio to have ridiculous numbers when he left.

Im not saying he wasnt a good WR, but all of yall know you had higher expectations than what actually transpired.

Yes. Watching that 9:00 highlight film from AJ's junior year (look it up on youtube if you've got some time to kill) made my jaw drop. It was the most incredible WR high school film I'd ever seen in my life. And he sure lived up to it. I only saw AJ drop one pass in 3 years that he really should have caught, against UT his freshman year. Outside of that he was phenomenal and did things 99% of other receivers just can't do. He was truly a joy to watch and one of my favorite dawgs ever. I'll miss him, he's the best WR we've ever had.

I had higher expectations for Julio, but those were dampered by JPW, McElroy, and McElwain, plus his string of injuries.

I really hope Julio decides to come back for another year, I really think he can have a monster year next season especially with a QB who can get him the ball.

We only had Julio for 3 years, but won a national championship during that time. It'd be hard to expect any more.

I thought AJ was awesome and it was amazing to see him play in person while I was a student. I just hate that his time was wasted on the worst 3 year run under Mark Richt. Can't feel too bad for him, he certainly didn't help the situation this year

ETA: Yes, he was actually better than I expected since I'm pretty skeptical about hyperbolic recruiting services.

Definitely got what I expected out of julio. Dude was pivotal in us winning a national title and rising back to prominence. Basically two 1000 yard seasons in a somewhat run happy offense. He was one of the cornerstones to our recent success.

Green is easily the most talented receiver in UGA history. Having said that, we definitely did not get the most out of A.J. Green was injured through most of the second have of last season and had to sit out the first 4 games of this season due to selling out his team for the price of a jersey. I wish him well but like many of our star players over the years, he could have contributed at a much higher level. That's why college teams might actually be better off with players like Tebow who are not high draft picks in the pros and as a result contribute at a high level for 4 years. And in Tebow's case, winning two NC's for his team.

Personally I never had really high expectations for Julio. I knew he would be good, but I never expected crazy numbers before he left UA. We just have never had the right kind of offense for that

Three truly outstanding players who will all be outstanding pros IMO. Patrick gave us plenty of great play and excitement and my only regret for him is that he wasn't given a shot at returns a year sooner. He and Holliday as a team would have been outstanding, though Chad Jones did have his moments. Peterson's matchups with AJ and JJ were classics. The legacy of Peterson will continue next season in that he has spent a great deal of time schooling LSU's young db's, especially, Mathieu and Claiborne.

Any fans of these players' respective schools that aren't pleased with the way they've played aren't in touch with reality. All three have been great players throughout their careers. I wouldn't trade Julio for anyone in the country, just like I'm sure UGA and LSU fans wouldn't trade their guys either.

I'm going to be selfish and hope Julio goes against the odds and returns for one more year.
