quote:

Asked about the swiftness of some decisions – Newton was reinstated quickly though the investigation is ongoing – while others drag on for months or years, as was the case of Reggie Bush at USC, Emmert said: "Everyone looks at the Reggie Bush case and says, 'It took them a long time.' But they got it right, I think. It was a very hard, complex case. Again, remember, the NCAA does not have subpoena power. You cannot mandate that somebody talks to you. You have to work very hard to get at the facts."

Thoughts? Sorry if Germans...

i think that with the timing of the allegations and auburn being as successful as they are this year the ncaa is trying to cash in on a big NC game. auburn going down would have been a big hit for them. thats why they cleared shite up real fast.

Can't really disagree with what he says. I am watching the movie from your avatar picture right now. And yes, Cam is a cotton-headed ninny muggins as was his father before him. I'm sure both are on the naughty list.
