The real salary offered was in the 1.6 mil with incentives to jump it up to the 3 mil range. Vandy is pretty much known as a HC grave yard. Auburn has upped his salary to 1.3mil and other opportunities will come. I am sure Mullen has another good year in 2011 he will be gone. Here is a thought for you what if Mack brown retires next year and they come get Chizik as he is well liked there than Malzahn jumps to HC...lol...I know highly unlikely just throwin it out there for fun.

Chizik has alot to prove before he gets considered at Texas. For one, winning without Malzahn and Newton.
