I think the SEC refs are just as bad or worse than the SWC. I would say worse b/c they have the benefit of replay and still can't get it right half the time or decide not to.

Can't agree with that. Now a days, most games are nationally televised so there is generally a bigger backlash to simply ridiculous calls. Back in the SWC days, the Texas officials didn't give shite about Arkansas in the first place, coupled with the lack of a microscope on the ref's actions made boning Arkansas a somewhat consistent practice.

BTW Hog fans, the next time you're about to jump on me for "flaming Arkansas" know that I just accepted an offer in NCAA 11 to coach the Hogs (coming off a disastrous 2-10 campaign) for the next 3 years, leaving Mississippi State.

Not even close. The SWC refs ripped us out of several big UT/UA games. Two I know of had NC on the line. Those were during the Broyles era and one during Holtz's first year. Holtz was responsible for allowing coaches to exempt a paticular ref from a matchup.
