Imagine yourself thinking that today's SEC officials are not even close to the worst you've seen.

So, you are saying the old SWC officials were worse to Arkansas than the SEC is to however is playing bama and aubie?

How did Arkansas ever win the SWC chmapionship? Hell, UT always has had talent.

I think the SEC refs are just as bad or worse than the SWC. I would say worse b/c they have the benefit of replay and still can't get it right half the time or decide not to.

I think so. It was really just Arkansas vs. Texas back then, so we really had no say whatsoever in what went on. Arkansas was screwed on a pretty regular basis, and nobody outside of Arkansas even knew about it, much less cared.

Let's put it this way: there was a SWC rule that officials who resided or were born in Arkansas could not officiate Arkansas games. However, an official who lived a street over from SMU's campus, one who lived in Austin, and another who was born in Lubbock were all part of the regular conference officiating rotations, without a single restriction upon which games they were considered unbiased enough to officiate.
