Am I missing something with Arkansas and Petrino on here?

Reading the Pig fans on this board you'd think that Arkansas and not AU is preparing to play in the National Title game right now. Did I miss some big breakthrough for this football program to where you are this dominant, elite program that looks down on anyone outside of the Mississippi schools? The big win over a team coached by Les Miles? A two loss season? 2nd in the West? Making a BCS game for once? I really think some of you need to get a grip on reality. You'd think he just won his 3rd national title the way yall are acting.

We are a bit excited that we locked up ONE of the best coaches in the game. Other than that its really just 4 or 5 people on here stirring you boys up. I wouldn't let it bother you too much.

Coming from a self proclaimed Vanderbilt fan I would think that our accomplishments this season would appear Super Bowl-esque, when compared to the feats of greatness that your program has witnessed since our arrival in the SEC.
We're just excited about our first ever BCS bid and the fact that we have locked up probably the best head coach to ever lead our university.
Cut us some slack for our excitement and maybe next year when we're back in another BCS game we will act like we have been there before..........because we will have.

I have no doubt that you understood the reasons for our excitement before you posted the above question. We haven't tasted much success in years, and we have now locked up the coach that appears to be on the verge of resurrecting our FB program. Not so surprising we'd be happy, now is it?

If not for 14 points of bullshite calls against Auburn - Arkansas might have been SEC champs

Apparently you did miss something or I did. I don't remember reading any post that an Arkansas fan stated they were playing for the National championship. Help us out and provide the link. Reasonable Hog Fans will promptly chastise said poster. Thanks for your interest in Arkansas Football.

We're excited about our program, for now and for the future. We're learning from our past and building something new. It's been a long time since we've had a coach who's more committed to excellence than being encumbered with excuses.

You did not miss anything. It's just jealousy on your part. We finished 3rd in the SEC and they finished 2nd. We finished a 3rd straight year with no SEC West Title. Losing to Arky is hard to swallow.
I forgot to add they kept us from a BCS bowl bid in the Sugar. We won alot of games this year, but lost 2 huge ones.
