They had that "great talent" this year too ya know, and they went 7-5.

Who knows? With a coaching change there is almost always a year or two hangover.

Considering that this year was not spectacular you could make a legit case that with the right coach they are the team to beat in the East. They do not lack talent, the only question is whether or not the new coaches offensive schemes match the personnel.

With that said I disagree that Mullen is the best choice simply because right now they do not seem to have the personnel to run the same offense they had been running. If they did Meyer would have won more games this year.
