One for every state and one national player.

Worley was the SC player AND the national player

Worley is the first athlete from South Carolina to be named National Football Player of the Year.

The 6-foot-5, 195-pound senior quarterback passed for 5,315 yards and a state-record 64 touchdown passes this season. Worley also was named 2010-2011 South Carolina's High School Football Player of the Year by Gatorade earlier this month.
