The Heisman isn't kind of a farce. It is a farce. If you really want a good measuring stick of the best players at their respective positions or overall, look at the Lombardi, the Maxwell, the Nagurski, etc. If you want the biased opinions of a bunch of old college players and ESPN, then the Heisman is just for you

it's really gonna piss you off whenever you see that luck gets picked before mallet in the draft too.

The Heisman is never a farce. It goes to the Most Outstanding Player. This is the player who (obviously) stands out the most. Therefore, since it is voted on, and not determined by stats, it always fulfills that criteria.

Cam won so its not like Mallett had any shot.
He gets to sit at the ceremony for hours and watch Cam go pick up the trophy?
