I was happy at the time of the '08 season, but looking back now after seeing the players from that team in the NFL and how we lost 4 games by 19 points, and also considering who we lost to, it makes me absolutely sick. That team was special
Welcome to the world of Houston Nutt

this is just petty stipulation, but it would seem that Nutt and Co. would have a little more insight to the Mullen Miami deal then most of us would. Nutt shoveling out 3 scholly's to seemly average juco players makes it seem like he expects Mullen to stay and keep Brassell, Whitehead, and Tobias as his '11 class trophies

That's the thought of a few Reb fans that I have read.
He isn't going to Miami, I know that. As for the recruits, that is up for debate.

Don't leave out CJ Johnson

4 4*s
possibly 5 with Chuck Hunter or if Dak or Arrington get bumped.

I think we're gonna steal Dak FWIW. Thoroughly enjoyed his visit.

maybe, maybe not.
I think he'll stay true to his word.

It'd prob best suit him to stay with MSU with that offense. LSU is going to revert more to a pro style offense IMO. Mettenberger, Rivers etc... Dak has a strong arm and doesn't HAVE to run but he can and I think that'll suit the Mullen offense better.

he's a smart kid who has said all along he will stick with MSU no matter what. I believe him.

I just mentioned those three because if Mullen left I'd assume they'd come to Oxford. If Mullen raped CJ's grandmother, I think he'd still be a bulldog

i doubt he stays, but it would be nice to have a relevant MSU

This is dead on...State and Mississippi always split the talent and the state isnt big enough to produce enough elite talent that can qualify and support both schools...
Well, that is the same case in Alabama as well.
And it looks like the 2 schools here will win back to back Heisman's and BSCNC games.
I mean, that other school cheated and junk, but you get the picture.

This is all Ole Miss or State can ever hope for. We will never have the tradition of winning that LSU, Tenn, Bama, Fla, etc have in the SEC. We will not be able to hold all the good recruits in Mississippi every year
I beg to differ, we keep ALL of our recruits in MS then we have planty for both schools to be relevent.
