I think Deep Ellum has always been rougher. There were only 1 or 2 bars that we would go to.
Always the possibility of getting mugged in that area IMO.
Greenville Ave was always full of hot arse. SMU is near there. I always felt like that area was more of that college atmosphere.
BILLY BOBS out in the Stockyards is cool as well if you have never been.

Yeah, Billy Bobs is great. You can see some Nashville artists there for like 10 bucks. Check the schedule. Might get to see a good show for little dough.
