He's having problems with block in the backs I've heard.

Does it make you guys feel better to start topics like this because your team isn't playing in Atlanta this weekend?
Does it make you feel better to claim that everyone's complaints are out of jealousy because you know that we're right?
I mean, because as far as going to Atlanta and going undefeated and winning an MNC are concerned, we've kind of already done all that. What's there to be jealous of? It's old news.

If shitty dads were enough to make a kid lose the Heisman then last year is even more of a joke than it already was.
See, where your comparison shits the bed is when you consider that Ingram Sr. didn't go to prison because of something he did to the player you're making the comparison about.
That's called a logical fallacy. Yours was blatant, and you fail at the internet.

This season will surely put us back on equal smack talk terms if we can win two more games.

So if Cecil shopped Cam and Cam had no part in it Cam should be punished and have his future taken away because of his dad?

Well, you'll have gotten started catching up, but I won't disagree with you one second there.
It'll be about damn time!

Did you forget the part where we were talking about the fathers? Let's stick to what you said and not throw red herrings all over the place, mmkay?

So do you or do you not agree that fathers screw ups should be able to ruin their kids future?

I'm not sure that him not winning the heisman would "ruin his future." He will still be in the NFL in the future

What I said has nothing to do with the kids. Let's drop that part of the conversation until we tackle the part I was talking about. Hold the thought, because we can go back and deal with it afterward.
We were making the comparison between the fathers; Cecil and Ingram Sr.
I simply pointed out that Ingram Sr. didn't go to prison because of anything he did to his son.
Cecil, on the other hand, did just about everything he could to frick his own flesh and blood's future up out of nothing more than simple avarice. Now, you guys claim to love Cam so much. That being said, how can you defend Cecil in light of what has come out?
In closing, I'll reiterate. Ingram Sr. got in trouble with the law because he fricked himself over. He got time tacked on beacuse he wanted to go see his boy play in a game and missed his report-in date to go to jail.
Cecil, on the other hand, has had his access to Auburn limited because he tried to parlay his son into money, the consequences to said son be damned. That is fricking reprehensible.
As far as whether sins of the father should follow the children, of course I don't think that. I've never claimed that they should. If anything, Auburn should've declared him ineligible as soon as the possibility that Cecil might have shopped him around became evident and then immediately appealed it. Cam, as a person, does not deserve to be dragged through all this shite.
Now that we've elevated the discourse from mudslinging and are trying to move on to honest, enlightened conversation, I'll gladly hear what you have to say.

Actually, nothing Ingram Sr. did would ruin Mark's future.

I was talking about cam actually. If he doesn't win the Heisman over this whole thing, it wouldn't ruin his future. Would it suck for him? Yeah more than likely. Ruin is future? Doubtful

Oh yeah, you're right. I might have gone a little overboard with that.
Cam has a bright future in front of him no matter what happens. It would probably be more accurate to say that his dad put him in the mother of all really shitty situations.

It will set a precedent, why not pay players to win.
This is so true. When it was proven that Cam and his dad were paid by AU, it put a huge damper on this season for me as an AU fan. It won't mean nearly as much since it has been proven that Cam got paid by AU. It won't be a legit national championship if we win.
Oh wait...
