So you weren't one of the fire Cutcliffe guys?

I felt firing Cutcliffe was a huge mistake. But from my understanding...I don't Cutcliffe would have come back for the 2005 season if he wasn't fired. There was a lot of stuff floating around inside the university at that time that he was wanting to step down due to some kind of health reason. I remember sitting in the PR office hearing that. But yeah....I wasn't for firing him. I wasn't too crazy about Cutcliffe...but he was winning at Ole Miss minus the 2004 season.

I heard the same about Cut's health and you could tell something wasn't right with him physically by just looking at him on the sidelines. That and he lost a lot of good assistants(Bassica, Middleton, Mike Mcintyre, and Jim Knowles) and replaced them with a bunch of idiots. I think this is part of nutt's problem as well.

As for my feelings on Nutt, it is hard to hate a guy for 1 frick up season after taking us to back to back Cotton Bowls, especially after enduring the O years. I will tell you this though, if next year is like this past season his arse will be gone. By that I don't just mean wins&losses, but all this off the field shite needs to be straightened out. If he is going to be the 12th highest paid coach in the country, he needs to start winning like it or we will find someone else that will.
