I think it is more of a P.R. move by Bama.
It is hard to believe that just some random "part-time" employee has FULL control over what is put out on the loud speakers in the stadium. It just seems like other people would have had to approve it or could have stopped it.

UA did the same thing after the sprinklers were turned on during the Southern Miss game a few years ago. "The unnamed employee who was responsible was fired."
I believe them when they say he was part time. Most of the radio guys for college teams are considered part time employees. I think it's a pretty weak attempt by UA to distance themselves from it by saying that, though.
And you're right. I'm sure at least one person who had the authority to stop the music heard and then chose to ignore it.

wow anyone offended by this is a pussy, no way he should have been fired. if an away team had played a rap song about guns after RP's incident i would have laughed, not got butt hurt like some of the auburn fans
