Maybe you were not around, we lost to Auburn and a BS XP penalty that you probably have not seen since, they lost to Iowa on a fluke hail mary where there was obvious holding, LSU lost 1 game badly and that was Georgia. The defense dropped from #1 to #3 the following season, the offense dropped 10 spots, LSU rotated 3 quarterbacks in and out of the line-up.

The fans did not start complaining till he bolted for the Dolphins and then to Alabama, which is when their "voice" got louder.

They weren't "calling for his head," but there was plenty of grumbling that year and it's really clear how similar this Bama year has been. I definitely don't think he's going anywhere this year, and that has nothing to do with the point I'm making. I don't think an NFL team is stupid enough to give him another shot, not even Jerry Jones.

2...Flynn only played a few plays in the bowl because Russell was in the doghouse. Beat Oregon St. because their kicker chocked and hung on for dear life vs. Troy and Ole Miss. Lost to Auburn largely because he mis-managed the QB rotation.
