Weather sucked arse today. It was cold as shite, but the place was packed. It was really loud too, for the first half at least. Even when we got up 21-0 I knew it'd be a fight to the end. The whole thing just reminded me of last year's Iron Bowl with the role's reversed.

Can we fire McElwain already? Dear God the playcalling was downright atrocious. frick anyone who wants to argue with me. We had all the momentum from the first quarter completely disappear halfway through the 2nd. And did we even show up in the second half? fricking bullshite.

Hightower needs to be moved to DE, plain and simple. He's too slow coming back from the injury and shouldn't be covering any sort of pass play. I have no idea why our secondary is the way it is. How can we not get a single turnover, minus the punt?

I know I've been down on McElroy, but I sure as hell didn't want him to get injured. I hope he's okay, I would never wish that on anyone except Nick Fairley.

We deserved to lose this game with how we played. Auburn gets the credit because they capitalized on our lethargic attitude, so good game Auburn. However, there were some blatant missed calls. Pass Interference, holding, and I thought that hit on McElroy could have been flagged too.

One classless thing I did see was #24 from Auburn (idk who that is) jumping around after the game, giving the throat slashing gesture to the whole student section.

All in all a sloppy game that we came out on the wrong side of. Pretty much defines our season. It's disappointing to say the least. But I love Alabama and I will until the day I die, and a loss will never change that. We will keep getting better, and we will be right back in the SEC title hunt next August.

There were shite calls on both sides, so moot point.

Kind of like throwing Monopoly money on players before the game? Let's face it, there is no class on either side when it comes to the Iron Bowl.

y'alls fans ran out of juice after the first quarter and a half. reminded me of LSU v. Tenn in 05. we were up 21-0 at halftime and lost in OT. I was at that game and don't even remember cheering in the second half, because we were trying to run the clock with Addai up the middle or a hitch to Bowe. Next thing I knew, I was walking out really pissed off. Saban is going to have a really hard time explaining this. I can't wait for his post-game presser!

I observed a pretty classless move on the part of some Alabama dude who stomped on Newton's calf when he was down.

For what, pulling him down by his jersey sleeve?

You do know they play tackle football in college, not two hand touch, right?
