told me this morning that in talking with his friends on the sports training staff they mentioned that no one likes Dye being around the program and there is a feeling among some on the staff that everything might not be on the "up and up" in regards to Cam and a few other things.

Said those on the sports training staff think a couple of coaches know and a couple more are very suspicious. Said all believe NCAA investigation will come and the key as to who knows what's up and/or suspects something is up is to watch who jumps ship after the season.

TFWIW....cue AU fans saying "not worth anything", but this is about as inside as you can get without talking to an AU football coach or Cecil.

I still think this whole thing has a looooooong way to go. Auburn is definitely NOT out of the woods. They should really enjoy this year though.

Would suggest that you edit this to read "no one likes Dye being around the program." I had to read this several times to figure out what you were saying.

Honestly, though. The only people who know about this in the staff are the people that have to know. Also, those who "jump ship" after the season are likely to be the ones who were going to leave anyways... just saying. Thanks for the info, though, I'll see what I can get out of the people I know.

Is that anything like friends with sources...or do you have sources, that have friends? Becuase the way you have it written it's as though you have these sources, that you've always had, and it just so happens that your sources, have friends in auburn football...which makes me question, who has sources to events before those events occur?

cannot for the life of me understand why Auburn makes such a fuss over Dye. "Pat Dye Field", his mug up on the scoreboard.

Man is bad news. A real embarrassment.

I don't think you need a source to know that many Auburn fans don't like Dye being around the program.

I think a lot of Auburn fans also feel like things aren't on the "up and up" with Cam. But there is no public evidence that kills him at this point.

--------

I don't know anyone on the Auburn staff and I believe many want Lowder and Dye away from the program. The Auburn fans are also worried about Cam, however they'll defend him until proven otherwise. I broke this story without a source.

I make sweet love to Chizik's wife every Tuesday and Thursday night. I think that's about as "inside" Auburn you can get.

This echoes a phone call I received on Friday from a confidant I know who is close to several AU alums who are now practicing doctors in their 50s and 60s. The word is that people within the institution are involved in recruiting violations, knowledge and PFP. This is very dark and damning from within AU's own community.
