Worse. Lost 2 best (not saying much) returners to serious injuries and 2 top recruits didn't qualify. 7-8 wins will be an aacomplishment. Good recruiting class coming in next year, so we may be respectable in 2 o3 years.
Gees man. That's terrible.

I think that guy will end up being a good coach though.

So the Kemp kid didn't qualify?

Kemp and Cothron (sp?) didn't qualify. Barbee took a chance on Cothron, it was pretty obvious he would have a hell of a time qualifying. This year's class is good but it's still the worst in the SEC, which says something about the SEC's recruiting this year.

Anyways it will take a couple of years to get really good. Barbee recruits well and he recruits big. In a couple of years 4/5 of our players on the court at any given time will be over 6'8". Tall, lanky and fast players.

It's a lot to go into honestly. But I don't expect any 20 win season until 2012 or later.

Barbee is going to be good if he is given the time and can endure what he is going to have to go through. AU probably has the easiest non-conference schedule ever and yet, they will be lucky to win half of their non-conference games. I think we will suprise 1 or 2 teams in the SEC and play somebody close, maybe even get a conference win or 2.

I wonder if this is what Vandy football fans feel like. It's actually not all that bad, because the expectations are so low, there is no disappointment.
