What precedent is there for something like this to have ever happened?
Recruiting records past 10-15 years ago were nothing like today. I can see Bobby Bowden maybe accomplishing something like that in the 70's, but I can't think of a comparison with a program that doesn't have at least a few years of big-time success doing this.
