I have that class with him. It's pretty much an online course where the only dates you have to actually show up are for midterm and finals. And he was there for the midterm, so...

With the funding and staff that Alabama's compliance department gets, Nick Saban knows if Trent Richardson has to leave class to take a piss.
If Trent Richardson became ineligible due to grades at any point, Alabama knew about it at that exact moment.
Plus, academic ineligibility does not become an issue until the bowl games. Trent could have skipped every class this semester and he would still be eligible until fall grades come out.
