Yeah, but these people identify with Auburn and when you call Auburn corrupt, they take it personally. I think that enough information is out that we can now begin to understand better what is happening here and give the Auburn fans a break.
If this were happening at LSU, we'd want the same.

You sound like an Auburn apologist AlaTiger and kind of touch on a reason that so many rival fans are giving Auburn a hard time on this board. As it was said earlier, the EXACT same thing could be said about Alabama alums/fans in the mid and late 90s. Auburn fans as a whole really ARE good people but many of them (at least the radio and internet crowd) really do think they are inherently more righteous and moral than the typical Alabama fan OR LSU fan for that matter. I don't understand where all the pity for Auburn fans comes from. You act like innocent Auburn fans are routinely stoned on the street corners by out of control Alabama mobs and are spit on by Alabama fans as they walk by. They have fans that are every bit as ruthless as the most hardcore Alabama fan when it comes to dishing out the hatred. I say that as someone who has more close Auburn friends than Alabama friends too. As a whole, Barners are great people, but so are Alabama people. This idea that Auburn fans have some kind of moral high ground on Alabama fans is what is so stupid.
