Cam's story is he bought a stolen laptop out of the back of a guys car. Because there was a deal made and charges were eventually dropped, how it actually went down never had to be proven. I think a reasonable person could look at the situation and have the opinion that he stole it and his story is a spin job. I am not sure anyone in the public knows for sure.

the embarassing and suspicious part is throwing the thing out the window

if you didn't think there was anything wrong you wouldn't do that

What WDE24 said. Cam says he bought it from someone, but police report suggests that that might be a spin job. From the police report, an officer stated that while waiting outside Cam's closed room, he overheard Cam on the phone say:

"There was a computer and I took it. A few moments later suspect stated that he threw it, the computer, out the window, 'Huh! Cuz they bout to search my room.'"

More of the report is here: LINK

Someone posted the police report on here. sCam painted his name on the laptop. When the heat arrived he played dumb then when they went out of the room he threw it out of the window. If he didn't steal it or think it was stolen then why throw it out of the window?
