So what are you saying? It's legal to land on a guy after you tackle him but that it's dirty?

I'll give you another example, for the sake of comparison:

When I played basketball in High School, it was perfectly legal to low bridge guys.

But it was considered very dirty. . .so much so that most all would refrain from doing so.

Horse-Collar tackles were dirty, even when they were legal.
