1) Are Auburn & the Newtons sharing lawyers? Are they collaborating?
2) Teams losing to Auburn will probably cost opponents coaches big $$$ in incentive bonuses, bowl $$$, and potential merchandising... Is the university liable for such?
3) If >$180K is found as given to Cecil Newton does he face federal charges for money laundering?

I'll hang up and listen

It will be a 10k retainer, and then $350 an hour after that for the answers. The SEC Rant accepts only certified funds.

Very unlikely. There would be a conflict of interest in certain areas. What is best for Cam Newton will wind up being very different than what is best for Auburn University.

In theory it is possible, but a lawsuit based on this is very very unlikely.

Depends on if he laundered the money.

You think he reported it on his taxes last year?

here's a question:

how can the Newton's afford a lawyer if they could not afford the needed repairs to their church only a few months before?

lawyers cost over $200 an hour and usually require a retainer. something smells rotten in AU.

True... I wonder if his attorney is an AU alum or a pro bono guy from his church?

My legal advice is free but I am not a lawyer so you would not be wise to listen to me. Also, it is against the law for me to practice law without a license.

Remember this, you get what you pay for. I think it has been said that Cecil Newton hired an attorney in Georgia and that may be the smartest thing he ever did. I don't think he can trust a lawyer in this state at this point.

I need a lawyer, but cannot afford one.
Will you represent me 4 free?
