I think it's relevant, especially considering he's at the top of the Heisman race. All of that stuff - Academic records, 13 traffic violations, computer gate, etc... all show lack of character and basically prove that Cam isn't the angel we were all told he was. What you see is a tendency of doing shady things... and I think it's very relevant, considering the Heisman vision statement.

This guy is a reporter, not a NCAA investigator. The academic cheating may not be relevant to the NCAA investigation, but it doesn't mean that its not news worthy. People are interested in knowing if the Newtons and Aub cheated the NCAA rules. Hearing that there are allegations that Cam was an academic cheater, even if they were two years ago, factors in to his credibility and propensity for cheating.

This is especially true when Aub's AD takes the mike and says "by all account, he is a great kid." Well, not by all accounts...

It's also relevant as to whether Cam can be believed in denying the payoff accusations. It proves that Cam lied about why he left Florida, doesn't it?
