As an Auburn fan, I see our secondary just not showing any signs of improvement. Thorpe is as good now as he was two years ago and we really haven't brought in any other solid corners to take over.

My question for Bama is this, with the top corner the past two years out of high school, do you see any improvement over the course of this year? Milliner looked rough the other day against LSU and Kirkpatrick has struggled.

So what do you guys think? Have they improved this year?

I have seen some, but very little improvement.

Our secondary has gotten better throughout the year. Well, Demond Washington has at least. They aren't atrocious, just bad now.

They're better tacklers than they were in game one. They recognize things faster now. They still get out of position, but we're talking about a lot of first year players. Mark Barron has a lot on his shoulders as the elder statesman of this group.

I think 75 to 80% of the game they play fairly well. However one or two blown coverages will completely erase that. In the two losses that has happened. They have blown 2 or 3 coverages that left receivers standing around all alone with no one near them.
