To give my weak answers to your questions:

I think it would be good if he was gone, it is no doubt that he is a great recruiter, but I think he is too loyal to people - whether it is coaches or players - for this level of competition. I think that someone like Miles is not a terrible ego maniac and could make us all feel better with very talented coordinators, but he believes too much in what is not working, and still thinks he can spark some sort of fire. In other words I think he is a combo of Dale Brown and Cholly Mac.

Slap in the face - not a slap in the face, but we would look fairly spoiled. But there again, not as bad as if he got fired after 3 stratight 9-3 seasons.

Shortlist for CU (if plausiable) - he has coached there, and internet runors claimed he liked it in Boulder. Along with that, you have to think that he is getting as tired of us as we are of him. Program from a very laid back area, new to a conference, with their media and fanbase vs. an SEC program, that is leveraged to the hilt with the upper deck rennovations, a rabid fanbase and a very critical media.

this is the only way I could see him in this situation.
