my point is... if you were watching, they played y'all hard.

if you respected your own team enough, you'd realize that was impressive.

I think you're reading too much into what i'm saying. Never said the MSU game wasn't close...i was sweating bullets that gamen. Never disagreed that they are not improved. My point is that they need to beat someone in the sec west before we start gushing about them being a real threat in the sec west.

I think this got taken out of context. Im not trying to slight MSU, and its clear they're on the way up, but they still need to start beating the other west teams before they can make any real noise.

Appologies for any ruffled feathers.

goes to Eugene.

I would not have a problem with that.

I don't think we're west contenders yet. I was skeptical about winning 6 games this year. We still need one more but I like our chances now to go out there and compete.

I don't think anyone is saying that we will make noise for the West this season. But to completely count us out in the future is very shortsighted. We have made it to Atlanta before..... I know it was just once, but other than Bama nobody in the West has more than 4 appearances (LSU) (3 for Ark & AU)
Mullen is doing good things in Starkville, and if he sticks around could make a run at the West on a year where most teams end up with 1 or 2 conference losses
