Didn't AJ just get in trouble for selling his jersey?

Doesn't this substitute as almost the same thing?

Only illegal if it is a current player. The description claims the ring belongs to a former player who has graduated. As long as they are no longer a part of the team or on scholarship they can do whatever they want with it.

Leigh Tiffin need some quick cash maybe?

I cant imagine having to get rid of a championship ring like that. I mean a Bama one I could, but an LSU one or the Saints superbowl ring. No way in hell.

1. it's not a player selling the ring

2. if it was the player would only get in trouble if he was still a college athlete.... once they are out of college the NCAA has no effect on them. Unless they do what Bush did

Says that it is unused and unopened. It's the player design, but it was never issued to an actual player.

Eh, didn't see at the bottom of the description that it belonged to a player. Probably one of the seniors who never played much and needs some money.

If the seller still played for Bama it might.

If its sold by the store why don't they have more available for purchase? Seems odd they would randomly put a single ring on sale almost a year after the game.

It actually says this in the description:

quote:

For privacy reasons we will not reveal the players info to anyone except the buyer of this ring. All we can say is that he is a former well known player that has graduated from the University of Alabama.

Amazing to me that they would be willing to part with the BCS title ring but keep the SEC ring and NCAA ring, unless they are selling each of the three in individual sales.

If it were me the BCS ring would be the one I held on to.

You think they made a bunch of extra rings, with no buyer?

What else would they do with it?

It could be Corey Reamer. I know he was cut by the Jets recently.

This is actually German...fwiw

I guess these rings aren't selling because the same Ohio State and Florida rings are still his other items (as they were "several" weeks ago if not months).

Didn't see an Auburn ring though...
