Heard a rumor today that the name being mentioned in Athens is ....sit down.... Mike Leach. They would be absolutely crazy not to go after Malzahn for this job though I hope not.

I have to believe Malzahn would be gone in a minute if he were offered this job.

No way they hire Leach as HC. They'll get a defensive minded HC.

Georgia would be better off keeping Richt. Leach is a good coach when asked to do more with less but put him in a high pressure environment where his teams are expected to be in national championship contention and it won't be a question of if but when he will implode. That would be a terrible hire for Georgia.

I doubt malzahn is at the top of UGAs list. There are a lot of coaches more worthy of the georgia job than malzahn.

Malzahn that got shut down by MSU's defense?

I'm still not seeing all the hype about this guy yet. Is it because you guys are still bringing in weapons?

Will Muschamp is good enough to be the head coach in waiting at UT.....AND is a proud former walk on and team captain alum of UGA....NO WAY he passes this up, or they not offer it to him...this is why he passed on Tennessee and Auburn the last couple years....he knew this would eventually come up....cmon it's his dream job.

Leach wouldn't be a good hire. He is basically Nutt, but less of a scumbag. High expectations would kill him. He is better suited for a place with little tradition or history but with a fanbase that is starving to just get to bowl games.

Auburn's offense would torch Tejas' defense.

Local guy who is involved heavily. He mentioned his source as being one board of 15 that included the big car dealers that were highly influential in the hiring. He called this group by name but don't remember what he called them.

You heard some stupid shite.

My top coaches are..

1) Jim Harbaugh from Stanford (perhaps....)
2) Chris Peterson from Boise (very doubtful)
3)Muschamp from Texas

Jon Gruden - why not

I hope your right, cause if Leach and Gus is all we can get for HC then I'll be at the game wearing a paper bag on my head
