The same reason Stanley didnt play much last year and wont play much this year. Its tough for a Freshman or even a sophomore to play QB in the SEC against some of the best defenses in America. And FWIW Auburn's D is pretty good.

he's a freshmen
that strike over the middle that he got lit up on was a thing of beauty. he's got good pocket presence, which is something that really can not be taught that well.
