Following a Houston Nutt coached team is like living a fall with bipolar. One week your "stud qb" throws four picks and loses to Vandy and the next week upset the eventual national champions on the road. The follow up to the manic delight of such a change in fortune? Lose to USCjr at home. The man is the coaching version of an idiot savant.

So we lost to an over-glorified high school to start the year. Just about as low as it gets. So what's the balance to that? Beating Bama. We'll be jacked up to play them after a week a rest. Second, frick you Bama for scheduling us as your homecoming game. Twats. Third, I think Nutt going to come up with a gameplan so daft, Nick Saban would have never thought of it. His football IQ hits 160 that day, cash money lock. Alabama comes in tired from a tough 3 game stretch. Ole Miss shocks the world again.

The only problem with this scenario is that Alabama is a lot better than us.

I've been thinking Bama may not play very well against Ole Miss. Bama goes through a stretch of four ranked teams in five games, two of those games being on the road.

If we make it unscathed through that stretch I really think Ole Miss has a fantastic opportunity to upset Alabama.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not picking an upset. I'm just saying that Ole Miss COULD beat Alabama. For all we know, Alabama may beat Ole Miss 40-0

I mean its not going to happen, but coming off a stretch of @Arkansas, Florida, @South Carolina this game will be closer than it should be, kinda like the Alabama-Tennessee game last year.

The attention you'd get for beating bama is waaaayyyyyy greater than the notoriety for losing to jax state. Nutt may wanna try throwing the vandy and fresno games first as a sort of insurance policy to seal the deal for the upset.
