Good coaches don't grow on trees, there are so many factors that go into everything that you can't really say for sure a guy from another conference, the NFL, etc. will do in the SEC. I see all these lists that LSU fans make to replace Miles and you never know who just might be a lot worse than ole Les.

We're getting Gruden and every 5 star will follow him to Baton Rouge

Nutt because he's a proven winner. (at least on a small scale)

Malzahn is the most likely to lead a team to a national championship.

I wouldn't want Gary Crowton to be my waterboy.

I thought this question was a joke. Malzahn is a huge question mark as a head coach but the man can recruit. Crowton blows, he can't even run an offense with all the talent in the world let alone run a whole team. Nutt has won steadily won in the SEC but he will never deliver more than a 9 or 10 win season.

Gruden + LSU would scare the piss out of me. I was really scared at the thought of him possibly going to Tennessee. I love Gruden. Word is, he hates recruiting though and never wants to be a college coach.

Nutt has never been at a school that can deliver more than a 9 or 10 win season. I think he has taken Arkansas and Ole Miss to as high of a level as those schools can ever expect to be at.

Houston Nutt. He's a proven coach and did well at Ark. Probably one the top 3 coaches in Ark football history.

No. Top 3 would include Broyles, Hatfield, and Holtz. I will give him a top 5 spot though.

Ranking Arkansas Coaches over the last 40 years

1) Broyles
2) Holtz
3) Hatfield
4) Nutt
5) Ford
6) Crowe

When it is all said and done, Petrino will be in front of Nutt as well

But of course...

Not dogging on Nutt, just putting facts out and stating an opinion. Out of the past 6 coaches at Arkansas, Nutt had the 4th best winning %. Only Jack Crowe and Danny Ford has worse. Nutt has still managed to do a good job so far at OM though.

I get that. Of course it's really hard to back up the opinion that Bobby P. will have a better % then he did. Off to a really bad start, and honestly, I have no clue how long he plans on staying. FWIW, all coaches tell their fans that they love their current school and town and have no plans of leaving....
